Why should I use this Ebook instead of using an all in one program like DvdXCopy?

First of all, Dvd X Copy puts a digital signature on every Dvd you copy. This can be used by the authorities to trace your copies back to you. If you want to keep your privacy, you might not want that to happen.

Dvd X Copy also puts a big logo/warning on each disc that is visible at the beginning, warning everyone that this disc was copied with Dvd X Copy.

As Dvd X Copy makes as exact a copy as possible, you are forced to endure those F.B.I. warnings and such at the beginning of every disc you play. Here you are mashing that play or advance button and nothing happens until the opening is finished. I teach you how to make your movie play automatically when inserted. I also teach you how to remove all the extras from the disc if you like. This is not available with Dvd X Copy.

Another product called DvdXpress allows you to compress the video to squeeze a dual layer Dvd to a DvdR. What it does is trans code, not re-encode as I teach you how to do. Trans coding rarely provides the quality you would expect to get from a Dvd. This is very apparent on a big screen TV. I teach you how to re-encode for the best quality using free software.

Can I copy any Dvd?

Yes, this tutorial will teach you to copy any movie Dvd, even the dual layer Dvd-9.

Can I make an exact copy?

Yes, you can make an exact copy including the menu's and extras. You can also strip just the movie portion. I teach you all the techniques you need.

Do I need a Dvd burner?

Will it work with Windows XP or ME?

Yes, this will work with Windows 98,ME,2000,XP. It will not work with Windows 3.1. If you wish to use Rempeg2 to recompress your dual layer Dvd, you will need to have Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

Will the quality of my copy be as good as the original?

Yes, you won't see or hear any difference in quality. It will be as good as the original.

Where do I get the software from?

All the software you need is downloadable from my site. I give you all the links you need. The sofware is available anywhere because it is free. I prefer to host the downloads as that insures you get the same version as the tutorial describes.
